Lucy Van Atta is an actor, director, and theater educator based in NYC. She holds an MFA in Acting from Brown/Trinity Rep and a BA from Middlebury College. Lucy grew up on the campus of a New England prep school and spent her childhood creating original plays with the other faculty kids. The daughter of a historian, she has always felt at home in the 18th or 19th century. Lucy specializes in accents/dialects and has an absurdist sense of humor. She is a Teaching Artist with Child's Play NY, Shakespeare on the Sound, and The Studio for Performing Arts (New Canaan, CT). Lucy is also a Certified Yoga Instructor.
